One week has gone by and oh the things that have taken place:
- Penny lost her belly button, well that black remnant of the cord anyway
- She spent her first day without mom or dad. Grandma and Grandpa Lasky came to watch her while mom went out to get her hair cut. So nice to not have my hair in a ponytail for the first time in 3 weeks.
- First projectile poop while in the middle of a diaper change. It was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Good times cleaning that one up solo.
- Second trip out for lunch with total success. No crying and a happy little meal for mom and dad.
- Baby acne :(
