After going a week without seeing P, we were more than ready to spend a week with her in our happy place. The weather was phenomenal and the company even better. The girls (cousins) were on week two together so there was some need for separation and private time but we made it through. We kayaked just about every day and Penny and I got into a good groove on how not to tip. She was actually the perfect boat partner....we looked for lilies in the lily pads and debated parking at the sandbar. Maybe when we are in a bigger boat.
She is showing some paddling skills too. We definitely should have gotten that tandem kayak.
