Big Girl Beds

Someone is growing up. Big week - transferred to the big girl bed, twice. First in MI and then at home in Chicago. One twin, one toddler. One with railing, one without. MI went swimmingly, railings made her feel safe and there were minimal wake-ups. Chicago has been a bit more challenging. Toddler bed, no railing and someone has realized her freedom. No falling out yet but lots of pop outs; "mommy, I'm thirsty", "mommy, I need to be changed". I wake up at least three times a night with a little person at my bedside staring at me in the dark of night. She's stealth and calculated. I am waiting for her head to start spinning around exorcist style.

Not sure I am going to get used to this any time soon.
