One Year Check Up

Poor Penny Poo. Two days, two different doctors appointments. Two shots, two draws of blood. Total trooper. First the one year check up. All is well, besides that miss chubby cheeks has slimmed down a bit. Mommy and daddy need to start pushing the calories. I am not too worried....have you seen her lately? Surprisingly, she's holding on strong to those cheeks.

Today was her allergist appointment. No immediate gratification there. Took blood and will be testing for dairy, egg, nuts, fish, soy. Should know in a few days. Should also know an estimate of how severe, meaning an unscientific guess of when she may "grow out" of these allergies. Excited about that for the obvious reasons and then for the fact that I can finally answer the only question people have when they find out about Pen's plight, "right, they grow out of those...when?"
